The latest version of Cr@@gle is here! What's new? For starters, 'Runes'. Runes are basically our answer to Google Docs. Little nuggets of data that you can share with friends so they can edit your document with you, track edits, or chat with other individuals on the doc. You can even drop in an image and chat with someone about it! It's really quite exciting--we're taking collaboration to a whole new level. Another major update is our brand-spanking-new App Store. Now you'll be able to find tons of free apps just by checking one space! We also added a bunch of new categories for easier browsing. As always, we'd love to hear your feedback. New features include:This version was updated in 2011. The links to the "Blurbs" are now gone, but the features are the same. This version is almost exactly like version 6, but there are some minor changes that were made at 8.0.1.0. The next update for Cr@@gle was released in February 2013 and is called "Cr@@gle 7". This update provides an all new interface which also benefits users with smaller screen size devices such as smartphones and tablets. Here's a list of what's new: The current version is 7.5 (released January 2017). There is also an application "Cr@@gle Online" which allows users to access the Cr@@gle.org website on their mobile device. On 24 May 2015, "Cr@@gle 8" was released to the App Store with some improvements. It's important to note that this version has not been brought back, and there are no plans for a name change. The link to the app store has been removed due for this version of app (but you can still download it on your iOS device). This version was released in June 2018 with some minor changes. The number of document authors was increased to 30 people instead of 10, and new features like commenting were added (which had initially been removed in 2014). The current version of Cr@gle is "Cr@gle 9" and was released in April 2018. The new version has some major changes including: The latest update for Cr@gle 10 was released on the 18th of January 2019. This update introduced a whole new way to collaborate using "Steams" — private and public chats that live inside your document and support multiple users, images, and attachments! It also includes:From its first release, Cr@@gle has received worldwide recognition with articles in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Macworld, MacLife, MacMag UK Edition, T3. com, Macworld.com, Redmond Pie, Mashable, and other media outlets. It has also been featured in Time Magazine's Top 100 Digital Apps of 2009. Cr@@gle was also voted "Best iPhone App Ever" by the 1UP Network.Cr@@gle has received awards from Apple in the following categories:The Cr@@gle app is not available on Google Play or Windows Store to date.On 11 April 2010, Cr@gle was featured in an article about current popular collaboration technologies in TidBITS magazine (issue #214).
